My Everyday Make-Up Look

My Everyday Make-Up Look:

I begin my make-up with Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in the shade Ivory, which I apply with Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I am loving this sponge right now, it makes my foundation look so flawless..(We flawless, ladies tell 'em!).
I then fill in my eyebrows semi-lightly with Rimmel London Brow This Way Eyebrow Kit, which I never used to care about til eyebrows became a major thing.

I then move onto my eyes...

I use my Seventeen Easy On The Eye Birthday Suit Palette, spread the eye primer all over the lid (bottom right corner), and then use Cool Rose (third across top row) and Toasted Almond (fourth across top row). I put Cool Rose all over my lid and then apply Toasted Almond (which is a shimmery pink) from the outside in. I never liked pink much until my friend introduced me to these colours, I am in LOVE!

I then use my veryy worn out Rimmel pencil Eyeliner in Soft Kohl to line my lids and draw a slight wing, and go over the top of that with Rimmel London Colour Precise Eyeliner, at this point the liner ends up getting thicker and thicker til they look similar, as per.
I then conceal with Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer in 010 Ivory under my eyes and anywhere else necessary; usually my rudolph nose, and go in with bronzer.
I contour my face, the usual cheek bones, nose and around the edges of my face with Rimmel London Kate Sculpting Palette in 002 Coral Glow

I usually then powder my T-Zone at this point if i remember with Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent, and then grab Maybelline's Master Contour Duo Stick in Light. I apply the highlight side above the bronzer on my cheek bones, down the centre of my nose and under my eyebrows, I'm too scared to use the bronzer side, it's so dark and daunting, I don't think I'm at that skill level yet.
I sometimes grab my Sculpting Palette again and apply some of the powder highlight over the top. I finish powdering my face where I need to and blend down my neck, and sometimes use Dior White Crayon Kohl Pencil on my lower eye water line.. which is definitely not in my budget but it was given to me by my friend who's mum had a major beauty clear out.
Lastly I use my Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara which definitely lengthens my lashes, it is my top fave.

I sometimes wear my current favourite lipstick: Rimmel London The Only 1 Lipstick in 700 Naughty Nude, which I am wearing in the picture below:

I love this lipstick, it is so moisturizing and long lasting, win win!

P.s. If you're wondering why the picture is like that on snapchat: my screen froze, I thought my makeup looked good so I screenshot it hahaha.

P.s.s. If you haven't noticed, a lot of my makeup is Rimmel London which is affordable and such good quality, so I totally recommend it if you haven't tried it. Treat yourself!

My 2015 Favourites!

The one thing I have loved most throughout 2015 is the original Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. This cream is amazing, my lips have always been my biggest problem area, but this cream leaves them feeling soft and moisturised, I carry it with me wherever I go. I am so grateful to velvetgh0st for introducing this on her channel, it has changed my life!

I also started using Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser in 2015 which is the best cleanser I've ever used. I was never mad about skincare until I started watching Gabriella Lindley (velvetgh0st) and Zoe Sugg (Zoella), who introduced me to the Liz Earle Cleanser and sold it so well that I decided to take a chance and buy it for myself. I am so happy I did. It cleared up my skin really well & fast, I love it and fully recommend it.

I started using Simple products halfway through the year, not for any particular reason, I just went into Tesco one day and a bunch of the Simple products were half price, so I popped a "few" into my basket. I use them every morning and every night (most of the time) and can honestly say my skin is looking a lot better. The eye products work really well for my puffy tired eyes, so if you have the same problem take a chance on them. They are Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Balm and Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On.

The perfume I have been loving throughout 2015 is Katy Perry Killer Queen, it's such a nice floral sweet scent. I am running low but luckily my best friend Gabby gave me her Killer Queen perfume.

A series I have loved in 2015 is Z Nation, it's about surviving a zombie apocalypse which is one of my favourite types of programme/film. I can't say much without giving out spoilers but it is such a good series and the actors are great. You should definitely check it out.
Another series I've been loving is Scream Queens, it's a comedy horror type series. Parts of it can be so silly but that's part of what makes it so good, it's funny and mysterious, and a few of the characters are played by Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, and Nick Jonas who I love.
At the beginning of 2015 I started to watch Pretty Little Liars which is my favourite show by far, I am obsessed with it. All of the characters are awesome, and the whole plot - who's A? - was so good! I can't stress enough how much you need to watch it if you haven't already.
Near the end of 2015 I decided to give Gossip Girl a watch, I'd seen it advertised and I may have caught a few minutes of an episode every now and again but I'd never sat down to actually watch it. I had no idea what I was missing out on, I love the drama of it, I love the characters and I think it is a great series.
Food wise I have been loving Burtons Fish 'n' Chips Salt & Vinegar baked snack biscuits, Salt and vinegar and pickled onion snacks are my favourite, but I have to cut back. I have also been loving Weight Watchers Chicken Curry which is random, I'm not trying to keep an eye on my weight or anything, I just love the taste of the curry.
Book wise I have been loving The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, I'm only halfway through but it's such a captivating story I don't want to rush it. I also read JoJo Moyes Me Before You which honestly I weren't sure about but it turned out to be one of my favourite books of all time, I fully recommend you check it out. I plan to get the sequel - After You.

Film Wise I loved Avengers Age of Ultron, my good friend took me to see it in cinema, bearing in mind I hadn't even seen the first Avengers (and still haven't), I thought I would be bored but it is such a good film! I do love action films and there is quite a bit of eye candy. I also loved The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2, which again I thought would bore me but I loved it, I could not take my eyes off the screen.

Yule and Christmas celebrations

My mum is Pagan so we celebrate Yule every year in our house a few days before Christmas. Last year (Happy New Year!) it was only my mum, my step dad, myself and my best friend Holly which was different as we usually have the neighbours and family friends round. It's pretty similar to Christmas, we wake up, open presents, have a Yule dinner and a yule log, and a few drinks. Since I made plans to spend Yule with my mum in Birmingham and Christmas with my dad and family in Blackpool, I had some of my Christmas presents on Yule.
From my Mum, Step dad and family I got:
A khaki faux fur parka from Miss Selfridge which I had been after for over a year:

A pair of black knee high leather boots from Primark
A Leonie Dawson 2016 Diary Planner:

Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette by Collection
Rimmel London Rita Ora nail polish in 860 Bestival Blue
An art therapy colouring book and pens
Grimm Season 4
A Golden Wonder Lush gift (included:Golden Wonder bath bomb and Star Dust bath bomb)
A Make-up Set
And £60

For Christmas off of my Dad, his partner, and my sister and family I got:
3 Perfumes: Justin Bieber Someday, Justin Bieber Girlfriend and Rihanna Reb'l Fleur
A red coat
A necklace

On Christmas Day at my dads we had the family over for dinner like we used to, and I had a tad too much to drink (first Christmas since turning 18!). I would include a few photos of the celebrations but I didn't take any. To my knowledge there was only a video taken, which was of myself, my sister, her boyfriend, my brother, and my dads partner dancing to the macarena, trying to teach my almost 4 year old (at the time) niece the moves. She is the most adorable kid. I do have a photo of the dinner table pre-dinner.

I think it looks quite cute. I hope you had a great Christmas, and Yule if that is something you celebrate.

My Skincare Routine

As a teen, I am conscious of wanting to have nice skin. I often wear make-up, which I make sure I take off every night. I have tried out a few different products and have found this beauty cleansing regime to really work for me, so thought I would share it with you.

I originally used Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Jasmine & Osmanthus 150ml Limited Edition (£20.75) which has a really nice smell and worked well with my skin.

When I ran out of that I ordered the original Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser 100ml (£14.00). I find that this cleanser has a slightly stronger scent but does the same job and I can see myself re-ordering this in the future. With the cleanser I squirt one pump out onto my hand and smear it across my face, I gently rub this in for 30 seconds-1 minute and then I soak a muslin cloth in hand hot water, rinse and wipe the cleanser off of my face. I do this to remove make up at night and use it in the morning to freshen up. I love it.

Once a week I use Simple Kind To Skin Smoothing Facial Scrub (£3.39) to get rid of dead skin cells, with this I just apply a small amount to my damp face and neck and gently massage in, then I wipe it away with my muslin cloth and splash my face with warm water. I don't like the smell of this scrub but it does do the job so I will definitely be repurchasing.

I also use Quick Fix Facials Calming Clay Mask Sensitive and Red Skin (£4.99) once a week to cleanse the sensitive and red areas of my face. I apply a thick layer to my face avoiding my eyes and leave for 5-10 minutes and then I wipe it away with a damp cloth. It makes my face tingle and I must admit my mum finds the sight quite frightening when I use this.

After this I use Simple Kind To Eyes Eye-Make Up Remover (£3.39) to wipe away any eye make-up the cleanser didn't remove. I simply pour a little bit onto a piece of cotton wool and wipe over my eyes. I love using this, it removes every last bit of eye make up and is very refreshing, I really enjoy wearing heavy eye-shadow and eye-liner so I don't know what I would do without it.

I then pour a bit of Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner (£3.29) onto a piece of cotton wool and wipe over my face in upward movements. I'd never used a toner before this one, I didn't know why it was important but it is very refreshing and leaves my skin looking radiant.

In the morning I use Simple Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Day Cream (£5.19) which I smooth into my face and neck. I love this cream, it smells great and is so smooth, I can never get enough.

At night I use Simple Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream (£5.25) which I smooth into my face and neck. This cream has a slightly different texture to the day cream, much heavier but very moisturising, I wake up every morning with baby soft skin.

In the morning I then use Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On (£5.19) to wake my eyes up. I just smooth this under my eyes and dab it with my finger to absorb any left over liquid, and then I smooth on another layer and leave it to sink in. It works quickly and makes me feel much more awake of a morning, which is a challenge in itself.

At night I use Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm (£3.65) to relax my eyes. I squeeze a blob out onto my finger and dab it under both my eyes. This is a great eye balm, I've actually purchased it twice and I love it. I also use Manuka Honey Eye Gel which I got at a hobbycraft show a few weeks back, I dab my finger in the gel and then dab my finger under both of my eyes. I've only been using this for a few weeks but I can honestly say it works well with my soothing eye balm, reduces my eye bags and winds down my eyes. I don't think this is available to buy on-line, but if I come across it I'll post a link.
